Sarah (she/her) believes in the effervescent power of nostalgia to create present grounding & future direction. After spending most of her life in the South, Sarah moved to Brooklyn in 2020. In a city that has always felt like home as a queer woman, she has continued to foster a long-standing love for creating while being inspired by friends, artists, teachers, and daily life in New York (& elsewhere).Memorializing emotion and experience through light and lens is something Sarah is drawn to actualize and continually learn about. When not chasing or making light in the physical world, she has greatly enjoyed working in tech the past decade and is revived by music, swimming, running, guitar, transportation (especially the ferry!), theology (sometimes), and caring communities (always). Please say hello if you are curious about artistic collaborations, or if you would like to connect about learning and organizational development. :) Photos by Julie Florio and Lexie Scott M.Ed., Training & Organizational DevelopmentNorth Carolina State UniversityFocus in Reflective PracticeSenior Instructional Systems DesignerSAS Institute
